The Shanghai Financial Society (SHFS) has recently released the winner list of key research projects in 2021. Research on the Development Path of Local Asset Management Companies (AMCs), led by Zhou Lei, Vice President of SIG and conducted by the Department of Strategic Development of SIG in collaboration with the Fixed Income Business Unit and Strategic Research Department of Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd., won the second prize.
SHFS approved 47 key research projects in 2021. After two rounds of anonymous review by 5 external experts, 31 research projects were selected for awards, including 2 first prize winners, 4 second prize winners, 10 third prize winners and 15 merit prize winners.
SIG's AMC research project probed into the business environment of local AMCs, learned experience from peer companies through surveys, analyzed the market situation of local AMCs, responded to new regulatory policies, provided insight into the path for the next-step development of the AMC business and offered suggestions.
